What the judges are looking for in the Portraits category: "Images entered into this category need to say something about the character of their subjects. Images should reveal the subjects' personalities and enable the viewer to really connect with them."

Quality, creativitry and a lot of devotion .. some great photos here in the list .. landscape is amazing but for me the garden & plants is the suprising category !!!

Mostly a very impressive shortlist this year. Although I'm not sure how it's fair that one photo could be shortlisted for 3 different categories. Apart from that well done everyone.
